Mary Norton

Mary is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a degree in interdisciplinary studies of Dance and Health. She also went on to NHTI in Concord to where she got her associates in Dental Hygiene and continued then to get her public health certification in dental hygiene.  While she was at PSU she was a member of the Contemporary Dance Ensemble and was the Vice President of the PSU Dance Team.  During her time at Plymouth she also was chosen to dance with many guest artists such as Amy Marshall and Battleworks. Before her years at PSU she danced for many years and competed for Concord Dance Academy where she and her team received many awards and joined National competitions. Mary is a teacher at Lakes region Dance in areas such as Creative Movement, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Competition Company Choreography. She has been teaching at Lakes Region Dance for over 15 years and enjoys seeing students year after year. You can always find her with some glitter, hairspray or a bandaid if you need one.  When she isn’t teaching dance you can find her working as a Registered Dental Hygienist or hanging out with Her Son Shawn and Husband Brian at the Ski slopes ( in the Lodge).
